Written in plain English, without the legal maze. What is written here is what we do — and what is not written here is not something we promise.

1. Who we are
Codage Habitation LLP, trading as TheSiteHome, is a managed website-building service for small and growing businesses across India. We are based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
These terms apply the moment you engage us — by submitting the free-website form, approving a quotation, or making a payment. It does not matter whether we spoke on WhatsApp, over email or on a call; the same terms apply. Most of our communication and support happens on WhatsApp, and messages there count as written confirmation.

2. What we deliver
Exactly what your plan lists — nothing less, and nothing assumed. Every plan's page count, delivery time and feature list is stated on the Plans page, and that list is the scope of the work. Anything beyond it is an add-on: we tell you the cost first and start only after you approve.
- Design, content writing, mobile testing and taking the site live, to the page count in your plan.
- Domain, hosting and SSL for as long as your annual plan is active.
- A set number of included changes per plan (see section 5), handled over WhatsApp.
- Submitting the site to Google and connecting your Google Business profile.
The free Starter site: the free tier is a single-page website, generated automatically from the details and photos you submit, published on a subdomain of the form yourname.thesitehome.in. It is assembled largely by software rather than by hand, includes a limited number of changes, and does not include a custom domain. It is offered as-is.
What we do not do: on-location photo or video shoots, running paid ads, repairing legacy code built by someone else, and guaranteeing a first-page Google ranking, a sales figure or a number of enquiries. Nobody controls search rankings — we do not either.
3. What we need from you
To deliver on time we need four things: your business details, photos or a logo if you have them, correct contact information, and feedback on the draft. If we do not hear from you for 15 days the project moves to “on hold” and the delivery time shifts accordingly. If there is no response for 90 days, the project is treated as complete and closed, and no refund is due.
Content you own: you confirm that the photos, text, logos, menus and prices you send us are yours, or that you hold the rights to use them. We cannot verify this and we do not check it. If a third party claims rights over material you supplied, that is your responsibility, and you agree to cover us for any claim arising from it.
Lawful use: the website must not be used for anything unlawful, misleading, or in breach of Indian law — including counterfeit goods, unlicensed regulated services, gambling, adult content, or false claims about your business. If it is, we stop work or take the site offline immediately, and no refund is due.
4. Prices, GST and payment
- Prices are GST-exclusive. Every price shown on this site is a base price. GST at 18% is added on top and charged to you, so the amount actually debited is the displayed price plus 18%.
- Payment is upfront. Paid plans are paid in full before we begin building. Payments are processed by Razorpay — we never see or store your card or bank credentials.
- A GST invoice is issued on every payment, including each annual renewal.
- Paid plans are auto-renewing annual subscriptions. Year one may cost more than the years after it; the difference is charged as a one-time amount on your first invoice. Full renewal amounts, notice before each charge, and how to cancel are set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- The free Starter tier is free for the first year. After that it renews at ₹2,499 + GST per year, arranged by hand over WhatsApp — there is no auto-debit on the free tier, and nothing is charged without you agreeing to it.
- The Expert tier is quoted per project. The figure on the pricing card is a starting point, not a price; the quotation we send you is the price.
- Add-ons are billed only after you approve them in writing (a WhatsApp message counts).
- Continuity depends on an active plan. Your domain, hosting, SSL and the site itself run only while your annual plan is paid and active. If it lapses, the site goes offline and the domain may be released. We send reminders before renewal.
5. Changes, edits and new work
A change is not a new feature. A change means editing what already exists: text, photos, prices, contact details, section order, colours, or a small layout adjustment. That is covered by your plan's included edits.
New work means an additional page, a new feature or integration, a fresh design direction, or a site for a different business. That is quoted separately before anything is built — we will not do it and bill you afterwards.

Once the included changes are used, further edits are quoted, or you can move to a higher plan. Send requests on WhatsApp or by email — one consolidated list is always the fastest way to get them done.
6. Who owns what
Your content stays yours. The text, photos, logo and business information you supply remain your property. Once the site is built and paid for, the finished pages built from that content are yours to use for your business.
Domains. On paid plans that include a custom domain, we register it in your business name wherever the registrar permits, and we hand over the registrar login on request. The free Starter tier does not include a custom domain: it runs on a subdomain of thesitehome.in, which stays ours, and you have no ownership claim over that subdomain.
What stays ours. Our templates, design system, page layouts, underlying code and the tooling that generates and hosts the sites remain our property and are licensed to you for use on your own site only, for as long as your plan is active. Third-party fonts, plugins, stock photos and tools remain subject to their own licences.
We may show your site's name and a screenshot as an example of our work. Tell us not to and we remove it — no reason needed.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use our service, our systems or a site we host to: break any Indian law; upload malware; impersonate another business or person; publish content you do not have the rights to; send bulk unsolicited messages; attempt to access another customer's data; or place unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
If you do, we may suspend or take the site down, with notice where practical and immediately where it is not. Serious or repeated breaches end the agreement without a refund.
8. Support, uptime and liability
WhatsApp support runs 10am–8pm IST, Monday to Saturday. For a serious issue such as the site going down we start work immediately. We do not promise a specific uptime percentage.
Hosting outages, domain registry problems, internet disruptions, payment gateway failures or a third-party service shutting down are outside our control. We will help you get them resolved, but we cannot compensate for them.
Limitation of liability. To the extent Indian law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profit, lost income, lost customers, lost data or other indirect losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Ending the agreement
You can cancel your subscription at any time to stop future renewals — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy for how, and for what happens to money already paid. We may end the agreement if you breach these terms, if payment fails and is not fixed, or if we stop offering the service — in the last case we give reasonable notice and help you move your content elsewhere.
10. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We would much rather sort it out on WhatsApp first.
These terms are updated from time to time. The latest version appears on this page with its date, and material changes are notified to active customers. Projects already underway continue under the terms that applied on the day of the order. If anything here is unclear, just ask — asking costs nothing.
